In 2022, £1,471,258 was raised from ticket sales in our weekly lotteries. 1.94% of this amount was spent on prizes, 7.40% was re-invested into growing our lottery programme so it can raise even more in the future and 90.66% was used to fund the vital work of Shelter. This equates to a fantastic £1,333,855.26 which could fund our emergency helpline in England for 8 months, giving people struggling with urgent housing issues advice and support over the phone. *Based on the Lottery Submissions made by Shelter to the Gambling Commission, during the 2022 calendar year.

In 2022, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 2,524 in our regular Shelter Weekly Lotteries.
